Tempura

Tempura is a great way to use up vegetables during the fall harvest. It's fast and easy to make and very tasty. The key is to have good dipping sauces.

Ingredients

3 cups flour
3 cups ice cold water
3 eggs

Directions

Mix the egg and water together, then add in the flour and gently mix until combined. Don't over mix the flour, such that gluten forms, to keep the battery light and flakey when cooked.

Dip cut and sliced vegetables into batter, and cook in hot oil

Serve with dipping sauces.
