Polenta Recipe

Ingredients

5 cups water
1 cup corn meal
1 teaspoon salt water
2 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

Slowly mix corn meal into water in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil while constantly stirring, until it starts to sputter. Lower heat and cook for another 30-50 minutes until thick, frequently stirring. Season with oil and salt.

To make bars, place polenta into a pan, and let set for several hours. Cut into bars and remove, and then sear in a hot pan with oil.
