Directions In a heavy large pot, fry onions, carrots, celery and garlic til soft. In same pan brown meat. Add milk and wine, tomatoes, spices and salt and pepper, and simmer 1-2 hours. If there is too much liquid, simmer uncovered to reduce the liquid to the perfect consistency. Serve with pappardelle, and grated romano. |
